Giorgio Ambrosini was an amateur driver in Italy. In 1926, he started a small company in Turin making tuning and performance parts.
Ambrosini focused on normal Fiat models with the aim of making them faster.
In 1930, Siata also started producing cars. Ernie Mc Afee was Siata's West Coast dealer in the USA, and the press was thrilled with the outstanding performance and stylish bodies.
Racing success was there in the “Mille Miglia” and “Coppa della Toscane.”
This Daina Sport with chassis number SL0322B is one of the 6 Bertones produced.
In the book Can it be a Ferrari Rob de la Rive Box also has photos of this Siata and mentions that it was sold to America.
The ground-up restoration began in September 2012 and lasted until the summer of 2020, carried out by Classic Skills.
